DeRemote for Denon and Marantz App Reviews

Poor ergonomy, far less functionalities than the Denon app !! I bought this too fast for my AVR 3313

Thank you so much to update release better than marantz !!! Please can you release a version with modifiable progress bar when playing a song ?? And with marantz the navigation in net/USB is not "smooth" as the marantz official app that is really fast for navigation (quite instantaneous) So please 1-navigation speed, like marantz app 2-Changing possible playing progress bar

This last version is great ! We can navigate easily on Internet Radio. Should have a botton "save to favorites" . Will be perfect. Congratulations.

But please consider implementing layout options for iPhone 6 and 6+, there is more screen real estate on these devices, why not use it... (Im giving full five stars, because I mainly use the app on the iPad mini 4, and Split Screen mode is gorgeous!!!!)

I have a Denon 4310 and a 3310. This application crashes soon after it is launched, which is too bad. The Beta versions worked okay, but this 2.0 release does not work. Maybe because Im on an iPod Touch G1, but I have nothing else to test it on.

Dont waste your money, doesnt recognize anything and just keeps crashing!!!! $7.99 down the drain!!

Great interface. I had the other denim remote app and deleted it after seeing the improved functionality and interface on this one. Very nice!

This is a really slick little app that is much more convenient to use on the iPhone than Denons web interface. Im using it with my 3808CI and so far havent had any crashes or problems. The one area that could use improvement IMHO is the Net Radio control interface. This is awful in Denons web interface, and isnt much better in DeRemote. We need to be able to see more presets per screen, and search by the first few characters of the station name in presets.

The latest version of DeRemote is a big improvement over the old one - faster, more reliable and much more user-friendly now that Internet Radio is fully supported, including Favorites. The previous issue with flaky connectivity when Bluetooth was enabled is gone. Far more flexible than DenONOFF, if not quite as slick looking. Love it!!!

Ive had this app for a few months now, seems to work pretty good from the last version, more stable and easier to use. The only complaint is the selections for surround modes, I havent quite pin pointed the problem but switching between them doesnt seem quite right especially when I want 5 or 7 stereo channel, I dont think there is an option for that.

Version 3.1 is just great. Pretty much support all demon advanced features such as surround, audyssey settings, ... The new UI tweaks are really cool. Allows you to assign any button to any favorite function. Worth every penny. Works perfect with my 3808CI.

I was up and running in seconds. The auto config found my 4308 right away. The interface is clean and simple. Source selection response time is immediate. Channel selection in IRadio clean. This makes my Denon a lot more usable than its ever been. A must. It will also make the IR/RF remote obsolete. Way to go! The latest version is even better. Controlling two zones by allowing to create new zones is brilliant! Thank you A few months later, I love love love this product. In conjunction with my wireless adapter equipped Denon receiver and radiodenon, I surf the world for music I like, and its all at my fingertips. Bravo!

I consider this app a must-have for Denon owners. Instead of futzing around with Denons on-screen menu, get instant access to virtually all the features and options of your surround processor from one screen. Works very well, and the developer is very responsive to suggestions. One of my most used iPad apps.

Fantastic remote for my Marantz AV7005. I was missing one feature - the ability to select the analog 7.1 input. I sent the question to the support email and four hours later I was sent a link that added the capability. That is amazing. Highly recommended. Great user interface. This does everything I need and more.

The free version is much better.

Connects half the time and the other half fails, requiring an amp power cycle. Save your cash, completely unreliable.
